DR Stage - Theatre Design & Production

Producing

Founding a non-profit theatrical company and meeting the challenges of promotions, coordination, and staffing is jumping into the deep end of the pool for arts administration. But leading and working with high-quality stage-production teams gives you an appreciation for, and drive to achieve, true collaboration. As my PopPop used to say - "more heads make better coleslaw."

Producing Credits

Co-Founder / Producer – Uncommon Voices Productions (1998-2007)

Uncommon Voices Productions was founded as an outlet for new playwrights, specifically those plays that were quality works but did not "fit the mold" for the established theatres. UVP has participated in the Baltimore Playwrights' Festival for each year since it's inception, consistently producing award-winning plays - based on our principles of treating every new play with the same lavish attention to detail normally reserved for well-known productions.

What's This?

In the best of thespian tradition, this is purely a self-promotional area show-casing our stage designs and productions to-date. To be fair - there is some pretty cool stuff. But we are always looking for a challenge, so feel free to invite us to design your upcoming production(s).
